I was browsing Digg earlier today and happened to stumple upon this absolutely stunning Gears of War case mod for the Xbox 360. It’s not normally the kind of thing I’d go for, but I think the actual design of the case mod really fits the gritty Gears of War vibe. The official Gears of War 2 release date is currently stated as being November 7, 2008. So not long now then! I believe there are already a number of online gaming retailers whom are taking pre-orders for Gears of War 2. There has been a lot of hype surrounding the upcoming XBOX 360 title, Gears of War – so much so you would expect Microsoft to be throwing out a demo as a priority factor in their marketing campaign. People have already been able to play bits of it various public events, so all logic would indicate that the next move would be to put a demo out on the XBOX LIVE market place, ready to be sampled ahead of the game’s general release date.
